Tom moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2014 where he began his career in the mental health field working for a well known Wilderness therapy program in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. While there, Tom served as an admissions advisor, senior admissions coordinator and ultimately, as the Director of Admissions and Utilization Review. In 2019, he then transitioned over to outreach for a residential program that served adolescents, emerging adults, and adults that struggled with trauma and co-occuring disorders. Through personal and anecdotal experience, Tom’s passion for people has compelled him to help others on their personal journey through recovery. He enjoys working with families and professionals to help deliver solutions for customized treatment and long-lasting, sustainable recovery for those struggling with trauma, substance use, and mental health issues.
